RoboLab at Cyprus Comic Con 2026
Cyprus Comic Con is the largest annual pop culture festival in Cyprus, bringing together fans of anime, cosplay, games, contemporary creativity and comics.
The festival hosts presentations, competitions, concerts and meetings with guest performers, authors, actors and other special guests.
You can see projects by artists and developers, meet creators, take photos with cosplay characters and spend a whole day in the world of the modern pop culture industry.
- 2–4 October 2026
- Cyprus State Fair, Nicosia
Why is it interesting?
Comics, illustration, manga, Artist Alley and work by independent artists.
Costumes, characters, performances and cosplay competitions.
Gaming, game development, STEM and interactive projects.
Special guests, performances, music and the festival programme.
Comic Con is particularly interesting for our students: here they see how their interests in drawing, 3D modelling, comics, games and technology extend beyond the classroom. Most importantly, they can showcase their own projects here.
What will RoboLab showcase this year?
From a digital idea to a physical object.
From Blender to a finished figurine
The model was created in Blender by one of our male students, printed on a resin 3D printer and hand-painted by another student, a girl. It is a wonderful example of teamwork: from a digital model to a finished physical object.
From an architectural idea to a physical scale model
Stories that become real books
In Comics Studio, children learn to draw, create characters, come up with stories and develop plots.
But these projects do not remain just classroom work. The best work by RoboLab students is published in real books and calendars and showcased at Comic Con.
This is an important experience for a child: they see a tangible result of their work — not just a drawing in a sketchbook, but a finished project that can be printed, shown to an audience and added to their portfolio.
