Comics Studio
Invent a story and your own characters. Draw a world that has never existed before.
Drawing + storytelling + direction — from the first idea to a finished comic.

Course information
Comics are about more than drawing
When creating a comic, children become artists, scriptwriters and directors all at once.
They invent characters and their personalities, create their own world, develop a plot and work on panel composition. They learn to convey movement and emotion, write dialogue and tell a story that leaves readers wanting to know what happens next.
Character → Story → An original comic
Character and drawing
Children learn to create characters and work with proportions, poses, movement and emotions, experimenting with visual approaches and gradually finding their own style.
Story and direction
They learn to develop a plot, structure a sequence of events and work with panel composition, dialogue and visual storytelling.
An original comic
They take their work from an idea and initial sketches to a finished piece they can share with others.
It is not just about having an idea and getting started — learning to bring creative work to completion matters too.
Books and calendars featuring our students’ artwork
Every year, students’ best work goes beyond the online classroom — into real books and wall calendars.
From online lessons to taking part in Comic Con
Every year, the Comics Studio teacher takes part in Comic Con in Cyprus and Greece.
For these events, he publishes catalogues featuring his students’ artwork and presents them to Comic Con visitors.
Artwork worth hanging on the wall
At the end of the year, the teacher selects students’ best artwork for the Comics Studio flip-style wall calendar.
The children receive the finished calendars as gifts.
From an idea to work others will see
At Comics Studio, children learn more than how to draw better.
They learn to develop their own ideas, turn them into a clear visual story, work on characters and plot, respond to feedback and finish what they start.
Throughout the course, they gradually build a collection of finished work to share with others and later use as the foundation of their own creative portfolio.
We want children to do more than learn to draw better. We want their creativity to find an audience.

What parents say
«Please send my thanks to Mr. Stefadouros. For the first time in his life, as a hyperactive child, my son has maintained such a strong and consistent interest in something — and online, no less — for so many years! This is all thanks to the teacher, who found his own way to earn his trust and spark his interest. He truly is an EXCEPTIONAL teacher and person.»
«Please convey our heartfelt thanks to our teacher for his guidance, patience, and all the knowledge my daughter Emily has gained.»
«He really loved the class! 🙏 We'll definitely sign up! The teacher is amazing. If there are classes for adults, I'd love to take one too!»
