Web development
AI can create a website, but only you know what it should be like.
From the initial idea and design to publishing online, your child will experience the whole process of creating a modern website. They will learn not just to accept a finished result from AI, but to understand how the site works, modify it and take control of the outcome.
AI can create a website in a minute. But only you decide what it should be like.
AI has transformed web development: today it can build a website and write much of its code in just a few minutes. That is why we do not teach children to compete with AI at typing code. The course's main value is learning to understand, plan, create, modify and improve websites using both traditional web development tools and AI.
From website builders to real web development
An introduction through visual website builders
Children take their first steps with builders such as Tilda or Wix — not to learn a particular service, but to understand:
- •what types of websites exist and why they are created
- •how a landing page differs from a company website
- •how an online shop works
- •what building blocks make up a website
- •how a page is structured
- •how users interact with a website
- •how images, text, buttons and other elements work
Building a website independently
Next, your child moves beyond ready-made builders and follows the full development process:
6 web development skills
Website planning
Analysing the task, structure, user journeys, website types and their purposes. Exploring formats including landing pages, company websites, online shops and other common web projects.
Design and prototyping
Figma layouts, composition, typography, colour and UI/UX.
HTML: website structure
Tags, headings, text, images, links, lists, tables, forms and nested elements.
CSS: styling and interactivity
Colours, fonts, spacing, borders, selectors, classes, cascading style sheets, pseudo-classes, hover effects, gradients, transforms and visual element states.
Layout and responsive design
Containers, Flexbox, positioning, page structure and adapting websites for different devices.
AI in web development
AI prompts, generating and modifying code, reading AI-generated code, finding and fixing errors, improving results and speeding up development.
How we build websites step by step
Idea and plan
Define the website's purpose and audience.
Prototype
Plan the page structure and user flow.
Design in Figma
Create a visual layout and choose colours, fonts, images and interface elements.
HTML layout
Build the structure of the page and its elements.
CSS styling
Style the appearance and layout of elements.
Interactivity
Add effects, menus, buttons, states, transforms and multimedia.
Publishing
Publish the finished website online.
Hands-on practice and original projects at every stage
Throughout the course, children create individual and group projects, gradually progressing from simple pages to complete websites.
Rather than simply copying the teacher's code, your child learns to make decisions: plan a structure, create a design, write and modify code, test the result and fix errors.
By the end of the course, children have their own web projects to showcase in a portfolio.
Why does this matter now?
We teach children not to compete with AI at writing code quickly, but to understand the technology and use AI as a tool.
How a website is built and why it works the way it does.
Give AI precise tasks, modify the result and improve it.
Find errors in code and make websites more reliable.
Your own projects for a portfolio, learning, creativity and a future career.
