Blender 3D modelling and animation
Create professional 3D models of varying complexity: characters for cartoons and computer games, game environments, architecture, interiors and advertising videos.
What your child will create
A character for a game or cartoon
A complete 3D character: modelling, materials, posing and rendering.
Game environment
An environment with objects, lighting and atmosphere, ready for a game engine or presentation.
Architecture and interiors
Visualise a space, from its layout to a realistic render.
Final portfolio project
The student's own idea, developed into a finished piece of 3D work.
What your child will learn
Model characters, objects and environments in Blender
Work with polygon meshes, modifiers and sculpting
Set up materials, lighting, rendering and post-processing
Animate objects, characters and cameras
Prepare models for games, cartoons and portfolios
Put together a final project to show a university or client
AI on this course
AI as a reference assistant
We quickly gather ideas, establish a mood and collect visual references for the project.
AI in concept art
We generate variations of characters and environments, then refine them by hand in 3D.
AI for textures and materials
We speed up routine tasks with texture ideas, material descriptions and lighting options.
No substitute for thinking
The student creates all the key shapes, composition and animation themselves; AI only assists.

What families say about Blender 3D modelling and animation
«I never thought children could work with such complex software and create models like these! When I enrolled my daughter, I thought they would be putting models together from ready-made objects. But after just three months, I saw her modelling and making textures herself, and by the end of the year she was already animating her projects. It's wonderful!»
«My son took RoboLab's Blender course online and absolutely loved the lessons. He entered two competitions. In a year and a half, he completed a two-year course and got into college to study 3D modelling. Without his lessons at RoboLab, this would not have been possible.»
«My daughter really enjoyed studying at RoboLab. She wanted to become an architect and was very enthusiastic about 3D modelling. Nastya created a project inspired by Alice in Wonderland for a competition, won first place and received a grant for a 50% reduction in tuition fees at UNIC a full year before finishing school. By the time she applied, she had decided to choose Fine Art, but the portfolio she built during her time at RoboLab and the skills she gained proved very useful. A huge thank you to all the teachers!»
